Is mass alone enough to calculate a carbon footprint?
No. You also need the analysis scope, method, appropriate factors and other relevant inputs.
Is the packaging footprint the footprint of the whole order?
No. A packaging analysis has a defined scope. Products, transport and other processes must be included according to the chosen method.
What do PPWR Link calculations cover?
The current calculator covers material procurement up to the point of sale, within the scope of the selected factors. It does not cover the full lifecycle, use or end of life of the packaging. Compare results using consistent boundaries and methodology.
