Where should a packaging plugin operate?
If your team packs orders in the store dashboard, that is where material selection belongs. When an ERP, WMS or fulfilment operator manages dispatch, the packing workstation is the appropriate place to capture usage. Connecting every storefront separately is not always necessary. Agree on a single source of consumption events so the same order is not counted twice.

What does the e-commerce integration send?
A usage record contains an order or parcel reference, date, selected packaging, quantities and units. A box can be recorded in pieces, tape in metres and void fill in its appropriate unit. A packaging set speeds up selection, while the final event should describe the materials actually used. An order reference makes usage traceable without copying the customer’s entire personal record.

Store module or direct API?
A module adds packaging controls to an existing store interface. Direct API access embeds the process in custom applications or warehouse software. PPWR Link provides an OpenAPI contract and Swagger documentation. A platform name alone does not establish compatibility: the version, permissions, hosting model and local customisations also matter.

Tell us your platform and version, where packing takes place and how you handle returns or split shipments. Prepare sample boxes and materials with codes, mass and usage units. This defines the integration scope and the acceptance workflow: select materials, record usage, retry after a connection failure and locate the event in the register.

Is PPWR Link tied to one store platform?
No. The catalogue and API are independent of a storefront. Your store, order manager or warehouse can connect, depending on where packing takes place.
Do all listed platforms use the same plugin?
No. Plugins are platform-specific. The connection and scope are agreed for the particular store version; an API integration through your order management system is another option.
Is sending the number of orders enough?
Not for actual packaging usage. One order can involve multiple parcels, different boxes, tape and void fill.
